Stefano Arcangeli
"The music presented doesn't conform to the logic of a well-packaged product, despite being meticulously crafted down to the last detail; secondly, because it leaves no room for wishful thinking and sloppiness in its execution, revealing instead an admirable sense of collective effort and uncommon songwriting quality, ultimately demonstrating the expressive coherence that is indicative of a distinctive style, a poetics.
The use of tonal-modal harmonization, the elegance of his touch, the meticulous care with which he knows how to choose the right notes, the calm improvisation but no less capable of delving into depth, the predilection for predominantly intimate situations, however always very musical; everything about him makes a pleasant discovery.
Indeed, many of the merits lie first of all in the wonderful balance between sonority, dynamics, arrangements and expressive freedom of the solo voices, always at the service of the profound and heartfelt lyricism of splendid themes."
